Thanks to our friend and beloved photographer, Felicia Graham who traveled across the pond with us, here are some photos of our amazing week in London.

We are trying to get them all together, so there will be more posted…maybe even some future footage of the game once we get it uploaded somewhere with some more bandwidth…no promises on that as you can still see it in the DNN archives.

After a hard fought game, the Hustlers of the Texas Rollergirls beat the all-star London Brawling London Rollergirls team 84-63. Cheers!

Day One of Bootcamp a Huge Success

Well you’ve really never done anything until you have traveled abroad, but more importantly, when you have had the opportunity to train girls from all over the world who play the sport your league invented. Today was full of excitement and wonder as we put on the largest bootcamp in Texas Rollergirl history. We had 25 referees and 175 women working out from station to station all day long. We loved their enthusiasm and watch out America–Europe has some amazing skaters and they’re going to be gunning for us all someday in the near future…

We are preparing for our game tonight, which you can watch at 3pm Texas time on Derby News Network and as always, more to come…

Well, first I want to be clear that pictures to come will most likely mean within the next two weeks. We have twenty cameras going in different directions right now. They will come though, trust me.

Tonight we got the last bit of vacation out of the way with a party thrown for us by Daddy Blu. We have been so grateful to him as well as the London Rollergirls for this unique opportunty to play this game.

We have had so much fun and there is not nearly enough time to see everything in London we would like, but we’ve had amazing adventures to Camden, Stonehenge, Brighton and other amazing tourist sites amongst these few days.

Tomorrow we put our Texas Rollergirls hats on and will report during the weekend. If you don’t know it already, you can watch the bout on DNN live at 3pm CST.

Tuesday Fun

Well day two was fun…walking tours of Central London with Mischa Naccomploished. Fully enjoyable.

After miles of walking, we practiced with the London Rollergirls and had one of the best hotel carpet picnics that I can remember. All I can say is, “Go Purple!”

Well we made it yesterday. Jetlagged and silly we got into our hostels and hit the ground running.

The London Rollergirls showed us true hospitality with a great meet and greet at the Retro Bar. Pizza, beer and gift bag exchanges aside, London and their girls are amazing!

Fundraiser Updates and Silent Auction Details!

We are gearing up for our party on Saturday and are so excited that so many of you have responded. We have fabulous silent auction items from an array of local businesses, including Bamboo Salon, Home Slice Pizza, the Dirty Dog and several others. I think we even have a fabulous piece of antique furniture going up for auction!

The auction will run from 8:00pm-11:00pm on Saturday (CST). We will list auction items here with details and starting bid amounts. You will be able to text in bids until 11:05pm as we will announce the winners at 11:30. You will be contacted by phone or email and will have 24 hours to pay or the next bidder below the winning bid will be considered the winner. Stay tuned and good luck!!
